Your new sheepskin product may have been tightly packaged for shipping and the wool may appear flattend, please remove it from packaging as soon as possible and brush the fibers vigorously with a stiff brush or give it a shake to restore the soft fluffy appearance of the wool. Don’t worry wool fibers are very resilient and will bounce back to their original springy appearance and any fold marks in the product will disappear in a few days.

Wool fleece is a natural fiber and resists soiling, this simplifying cleaning. In most cases spot cleaning in place with warm water and mild soap is all that is needed. For instances when a full cleaning is needed please follow the steps listed below:
Though wool is a springy fiber, after long use it may tend to mat down a bit. To restore the pile to its original state, brush it up with a coarse brush. Course Fiber or wire brushes work best and do not harm the fleece.
After washing, the wool may become flat looking, the fluffy appearance can easily be restored by brushing the wool while it is wet and again when it is dry. A wire pet brush or stiff fiber brush works the best for this.

If at any time you should choose to store your sheepskin product, place it in a cool airy place where it is out of direct sunlight. Please do not package your sheepskin product in plastic for any extended period of time as the fibers will not be able to breathe and condensation can occur in warm/ humid conditions.
